According to a family friend speaking to People Magazine, the resilience of her children serves as a source of strength for Kate during this difficult time. They emphasized, “You take heart from the extraordinary resilience of children,” highlighting the pivotal role the children play in Prince William and Kate’s lives. The friend further stated, “The children are at the center of their world,” underscoring their importance in the royal couple’s lives.
Kate’s decision to wait until the children’s Easter break before disclosing her diagnosis reflects her concern for their well-being. Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith commended Kate’s timing, stating, “And she struck a pitch-perfect note,” acknowledging the thoughtful approach taken by the Princess.
