HSY becomes member of the Oscar committee for 2020

This year has turned out to be lucky for one of the most famous fashion designers of Pakistan Hassan Shehreyar Yasin, mostly known as HSY.
The designer has achieved a new milestone as he became the part of the Oscar committee for 2020.
The committee will choose one Pakistani film as submission for the International Feature Film Award.
To share the good news with his fans and followers, HSY took to his social media handle and uploaded a collage of himself with the “Oscar Award” and wrote,
“Humbled and proud to be part of the Oscar committee for 2020.”
Revealing more about the committee, the designer told that different Pakistani celebrities are also being the part of the committe, includin Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and Mehwish Hayat.
“The committee will be chaired by two-time Academy Award and Emmy winning documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and includes Film Director Asad-ul-Haq, Actor Mehwish Hayat and Musician Faisal Kapadia,” wrote HSY.
